Wired broadband is laid where it pays to lay it. That logic built a map decades ago and then mostly froze: dense streets got two or three choices, and everywhere else got one, or none, or a number on a contract that went up every year.
Meanwhile the mobile networks kept building. There is now a 5G radio within reach of most of the country, carrying far more capacity than the phones connected to it consume. Waveie’s whole idea is to put that spare capacity to work as home internet — no trench, no truck roll, no appointment window.
That has a second consequence we did not design but have come to like. A connection with no line into the building is a connection that can move. Put the gateway in the RV, the camper, the cabin or the second home, and the internet goes with it.
We will not raise your rate to earn more per customer. The only thing that moves it is a change in what the network costs us — and then only by that amount. If your rate ever does go up, you can leave and we pay your last bill. Read the actual terms
The gateway is included on every plan and there is no monthly rental charge for it. It stays Waveie property — we replace it if it fails and upgrade it on schedule, and you send it back when you leave. Equipment terms

Fixed wireless is not fibre, and we would rather say so here than have you discover it in month two.
