This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on waveie.com and myWaveie. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy, which covers personal information generally.
“Cookies” here means cookies and the technologies that do similar jobs — local storage, session storage and pixels.
Needed for the site to work. These cannot be switched off in our systems.
| Purpose | Where |
|---|---|
| Keeping you signed in to myWaveie, and keeping the session secure | First party |
| Remembering the contents of an order while you complete checkout | First party |
| Carrying an address you typed on the homepage through to the coverage checker | First party — browser session storage, cleared when you close the tab |
| Fraud prevention and load balancing | First party |
Remember choices you have made — billing period, Auto Pay toggle state, language, and whether you have dismissed a banner. Losing these is an inconvenience, not a fault.
Tell us which pages are used and where people abandon a flow, so we can fix it. We use this in aggregate. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Measure whether an advertisement led to a signup. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal.
Some features are supplied by other companies. When one of these loads, that company receives your IP address and standard request information, and may set its own cookies under its own policy.
